A story about a quiet stranger under the bed eavesdropping on the wet pulse of desire as a surging loneliness silently seeps.
UNDER MY BED (2026) is an eight-minute, audio-driven short film exploring everyday loneliness in an era of light-touch intimacy. Observing modern isolation from the shadowy vantage point beneath a bed, the artwork captures subtle traces of loneliness through light and sound, mirroring a collective urban condition where desire is easily consumed, only to carve out a deeper void.
Bridging narrative cinema and real-time technology, this project utilises sound-driven visuals to evoke a visceral sense of presence through eavesdropping. Existing both as a standalone video piece and a live performance module, its real-time architecture translates passive viewing into a shared, atmospheric immersion, placing the audience directly inside the shadows to experience the raw, voyeuristic tension of intruding upon a private life.
