Synesthesia of Water
Interactive Audiovisual Installation
2019
Synaesthesia of Water is a tactile interactive project that seeks to manipulate and intertwine different senses. When viewers dip their hands into the water, they activate a choreography of sound, lasers, and projected imagery. The work juxtaposes the physical sensation of water with abstract geometric forms derived from its deconstructed motion, alongside digitally manipulated water sounds, creating a cross-sensory bridge between physical and digital perception. Through this multi-sensory encounter, Synaesthesia of Water reveals the subtle — and at times dissonant — ways our senses overlap, merge, and inform one another.
